Planet 13 is one of Las Vegas' most recognized destinations — a 97,100 square foot multi-purpose entertainment and retail complex that draws a high volume of visitors around the clock. The existing roof system had aged to the point of active leaking, creating a risk to the building's interior, its entertainment infrastructure, and the experience of guests visiting the property. Highland Commercial Roofing recommended the RainShield® Seamless Single-Ply Roofing System, a fluid-applied membrane installed directly over the existing roof, providing a complete, seamless waterproofing solution without requiring a disruptive and costly tear-off.

Results

Highland's team coordinated the project to minimize any impact on the facility's operations throughout the installation, with the experienced crew ensuring consistent adhesion, membrane thickness, and detailing at all penetrations, edges, and transitions across the entire 97,100 SF surface. Planet 13 received a seamless, fully reinforced roofing system that resolved all active leak issues and provided the long-term waterproofing performance the property's ownership required, reducing the property's ongoing maintenance burden and offsetting cooling costs across the large facility, backed by a 20-year warranty.
