Solution

Highland rebuilt the roof from the deck up, preparing the plywood surface and installing new insulation and cover board to establish a solid foundation for the system. The team then applied a multi-layer roofing assembly using modified asphalt and reinforced waterproofing layers, followed by a reflective acrylic topcoat. The complete installation provided the building with a fully renewed, modern roof system constructed to handle heavy industrial use.

Results

The new roof delivers stronger thermal performance, improved water protection, and a more durable surface that will help extend the building’s service life. The reflective finish supports heat management and long-term energy efficiency, while the reinforced assembly provides reliability for a busy manufacturing environment. Highland also coordinated the project around ownership’s tear-off and permitting responsibilities, helping ensure a smooth and timely installation.
